RGB hosted a movie day for the less fortunate children from Persatuan Kebajikan Agape Pulau Pinang (Agape) on 13 January 2020 at TGV Cinema, Level 8 Gurney Paragon Mall

RGB International Bhd, through its CSR Department, recently organised a movie day in conjunction of Chinese New Year celebration. There were 30 participants, out of which, 20 of them were from Persatuan Kebajikan Agape Pulau Pinang and 10 were from RGB.

The movie was held at TGV Cinema, Level 8 Gurney Paragon Mall, which brought sparkles of joy among the attendees especially the lovely children of Agape home. The main objectives of the event were to provide the opportunity for the underprivileged children to watch the movie and create a bonding session between RGB staff and the underprivileged children.

Joining us for the visit was our special guest Datin’ Seri Tan Soon Kim and Mrs KC Chuah, alongside with the staff from Corporate Social Responsibility and other departments. The event was coordinated by Ms Chuah Tong Yi and overseen by Ms Cecilia Loo.

The event started off with a welcome speech by Ms Chuah Tong Yi and followed by “CNY gift distribution from RGB which were presented by Ms Chuah Tong Yi to the residents of the home. The lovely children were treated to 2 hours–long movie show (Spice & Disguise) and the delicious Chicken Burger Combo.

The event ended with a token of Angpow to the children and the staff of AGAPE.

RGB hopes that this charitable donation will definitely bring positive impact to the society at large.
